What is the carnival and what dates Sparky?

Oh Hoopy!!! i have been trying to find that out for days, i can't find anything on the internet and have asked a few locals but they are all also in the dark. It really annoys me that they don't promote these things until days before

It will tie in with the start of Lent,as Easter is later I guess carnival will be too.

Oh!! i had forgotten about that Lollipop, Lent begins on 5th March this year so Carnival will not even be in February.

I have just been told that Carnival in the Port will be on the last Saturday in the month, so that will be the 22nd .
