Hi, hoping someone can help

Since we were last in PP it looks like the satellite systems have changed and we no longer have british tv in the apartment, and I can't therefore watch the masters golf :-( the BBC internet radio doesn't have rights to stream it either.

Does anyone know

a) if there is a Spanish tv channel that streams live coverage of the masters that I could watch on an iPad

b) failing that, which bars might be showing live coverage late into the night. We are staying near the main square and a quick wander last night failed o find anywhere

Many thanks

I think you will find it on TV but only if you have Spanish satellite Canal+.
Sorry don't know of any bars showing it but will try to find out for you.

Bonys usually show the golf, if it's not on just ask Jose, he has always put it on for my son when he is here.

Alternatively you could instal the BBC player app on your Ipad and then go for one of the programmes that give you access to a UK IP address like 'BritishTVanywhere', there are quite a lot of other web sites doing a similar thing. I pay 6€ per month, you don't need a contract with this one and can just do it for either a week or month at a time! think it's just over 1€ for a weeks viewing.

Hope this helps. :)

try tuning your sky box into BBC Oxford 965 for some reason BBC 1 seems to be working on 965 even on a box that no other BBC or ITV channels will work

Thank you - for £3.65 for the week I've now got access to sky sports on my iPad! You've saved my week!

fil6699, we can get no British TV on our dish and we're not that far from you. Did have ITV Meridian but even that has gone now. Luckily our community have installed a 1.8 metre dish so we are fine via the community system.
