So true, once you have done it you will wonder why you used to take so much and struggle with heavy cases, as you say Easyjet have no weight limit so you can cram in as much as you can, we have never had our case measured with them either.

We often travel EJ from Newcastle and have been asked to put our hand luggage in the "measurer" out and return!!

As long as you follow the rules you will not get caught out.
