We are really looking forward to our holiday to P.P. in a couple of weeks time. Does anyone have knowledge of what's happening around town during this week? Any ideas where we can go for some evening entertainment? Have any new music bars sprang up in the last 18 months? Or can anyone recommend hotels that allow non residents to attend their entertainment nights? Also, can anyone recommend any restaraunts, either newly opened or well established. We have always found Trio good value. Thank-you.

Hi,

For restaurant recommendations, the best thing you can do is read through the Eating and Drinking out section - not just the first page, but going back several pages where there is a wealth of information on places to eat both in PP and in the old town. There have been lots of reports from people who have just returned and this includes new bars such as Nostalgia which has opened within the last month.

We have been in PP the last 2 years on this week. Although starting to quieten down a little you will still get the old favourites offerering live music, The Imperial and Mulligans are always a safe bet.

We are heading out for 2 weeks from 3rd Oct so hopefully there will still be some sunshine & entertainment left.

Many thanks for that. Yes we are also keeping our fingers crossed for some nice weather. We know it can be a bit 50/50, but we will settle for 4 out of 8 sunny days at our favourite holiday location. Cheers, and enjoy your holiday. We will think of you arriving as we are leaving and we will be green with envy.
