4 person bikes

We've been in PP for a week now and keep seeing these 4 person bike affairs going along the Pine walk - they're big things with 2 adults on the back sitting next to each other, and 2 child seats next to each other in front, almost like a 'tuc-tuc'/rickshaw type of thing. Anybody know where they can be hired from? I've had a look on the walking and cycling page on this website, but none of the links from there seem to mention anything like this.

The last few years you could hire them at the hotel (Panorama, I think) just across the road from the Pollensa Park hotel. Haven't been out this year yet, so maybe someone can confirm if they are still there.

Yes the Panorama do hire them out, it is in C/ Corb Mari next door to the "Golden Lion".
I personally don't like them, i worry about the safety of them having seen so many near misses the braking system does not appear to be very good.

I think you can hire them from the bike hire place next to Trio - seem to recall seeing them there.

I do have to agree with Sparky though with regards to safety - especially on the narrow Pinewalk

GG, not sure that place is still there, but agree that you can get them from Panorama

Not sure where you can hire them from either, but Ive seen themon the pine walk, which personally I dont think should be allowed. Im sure up to a few years back cycles were banned even. IMHO they are a nuisance, and bordering on dangerous to other road users and certainly pedestrians.

They're a pain in the backside............saw 4 young Spanish males in one towing another Spanish male on roller skates in June bumping it up kerbs etc.

Total menace.....they are just too big for PP and belong in Magalluf !!!

I always think they look good fun.....driven safely of course.
Haven't hired one as I don't know about all that 'pedal power' it looks exhausting
