A possible meet in Ikebana

Hi anyone who is in PP this Saturday. I will be spending the evening in Ikebana, from 7:30 onwards. Jose and Ana normally close on Saturdays but this week they are hosting a special dinner, it is a MDD and for €17:50 a head you will get :-
An Aperatif of Toast and Pate with a glass of Cava or Sherry.

Starters of :- Fish Soup or Salad with Goats Cheese and nuts with balsamic vinegar and honey dressing.

Main course will be Roast Beef in Port Sauce served with fresh vegatables and potatoes.

Dessert is Fresh Pineapple and Vanilla ice-cream with a hot chocolate sauce.

The price includes Wine, Water, Bread and Olives. There will also be music so we could dance the night away. Hopefully some of you will join us, i would love to put faces to names, just ask Ana which one is Sparky and she will tell you. Hasta la Vista Amigos.

Whaley, it is nice especially when the weather is good, you can sit in the garden. It is so relaxing. Maybe we could arrange to meet for a drink somewhere in the Port while you are here.

Bad weather has cancelled the Ikebana evening.

Although it has been warm and sunny, the wind is horrendous and Ikebana has been without electricity since the early hours of this morning. Despite promises from the power company it has not been re- connected and therefore Jose and Ana have had to cancel the dinner tonight. .

What a shame! Do let us know if they reschedule, there may be a few more of us about in a few days time...

(but please get rid of the wind & electricity outages!).

Dinner at Ikebana

Hi Sparky - sorry that the dinner ended up being cancelled due to that awful weather we've just had in PP. I thought that the roof was going to fly off last night
I would have reserved ffor the special dinner if I hadn't already booked to come back to the UK this morning so hope that there will be another suggested meet up in the future. Keep us posted!

The wind really has been scarey today, but what is so annoying is that we live just across the road and apart from momentary breaks in power we are unaffected. It seems that we are on a different line. I do hope that they have been re-connected tomorrow as Sunday is family day, my favourite day of the week . Will keep you informed.
