If using Goldcar, the VIP €15 extra is well worth it, just for the look on the queue's collective face when you waltz straight up to the desk on a Saturday & get sorted in 2 mins before the bags are off........OK, the there is the usual full/empty + 'additional insurance' gripe, but their cars do tend to be new, & we haven't really found better 10 years on....

Hi
I'm looking now and it says priority check in is an extra 50 euros!

We paid 21€ last week at round 10.30 pm. Agree with smg we have been using them for years and can't find better, especially now they refund what's left in the tank.

A medical problem meant we had to cancel last year's holiday but we're due in Pollensa soon. Booked again with Sixt - it again seemed best deal.

What I do like the sound of, is their "express" facility. Fill in your licence, passport, credit card details on line. You get a confirmation with one of those scanning code thingies. Turn up at Sixt's Express Counter, scan the thingy and you're on your way a couple of minutes later - so they say. There's no charge for this.

You won't regret it Harters....Sixt are spot on.

Sixt proved to be excellent.

Literally no-one at their desk at Arrivals, so I have no idea about how the Express facility would have actually worked. We took their extra insurance covering tyre damage , etc - that seemed like a good idea knowing the state of some roads. Offered a choice with regard to fuel - return full or empty. Decided on full. Everything signed for within a couple of minutes and we were off to the car park 4th floor to find "the guy" who would sort us out with the car. A few minutes later, we were on our way. Car return was a doddle - drop off on the ground floor - guy does a quick check there's no damage and the fuel gauge.

Throughly recommended.
