Airport Problems

We have just returned after an excellent 2 week stay in Puerto Pollensa. We were really concerned about the UK media reporting frequently problems / delays at Palma airport, namely with passport control. My wife has bad arthritis and is unable to bend her hands so giving finger prints is impossible. I cannot speak highly enough of the help and support we re received by staff at the airport.
Give yourself time and ignore the UK media reports.

I think you’ve really nailed the problem there…..GIVE YOURSELF TIME! So many people don’t and then miss their flight. I travel in and out of Palma virtually every month and I think the staff are generally very helpful and the whole thing is well organised. I think most problems occur when it’s a very busy time and the equipment malfunctions, so factor that into your timetable and you should avoid problems. Better to sit around for an extra 40 minutes than miss the flight.
