My husband and I are planning on staying at the Alexia Apartments first week in October. Would be very grateful for any info i.e. are they nice, good location etc. etc. Also any idea what the weather is likely to be like 1st - 9th Oct 2005?

Many thanks.

Hi Angie!

And welcome your first post eh!

Have you been to PP before? I feel you may not have.

PP is a very spread out place but is flat so walking is not a problem and many accomodations are quite a way from the centre or to the beach.

Alexia can be seen on www.ptopollensa.com which is Globespan's website, under apartments. It is in a block of about ten, three stories and on it's own with a nice pool and garden area with loungers etc. at the back of the town in a residential area behind the new by pass and about three or four mins walk to the largest supermarket-Caprabo. It would be about fifteen mins walk to the beach or to the Pine Walk or the roundabout at the centre. As I said lots of places are a bit out and many much more than this. Not a worry !

Stayed there once and enjoyed it. Spacious apartment, quiet at night, as so many places in town can get noise at night.

Early October should be nice weather but someone said on here last two? Octobers were unusually hot so you never know.

If you have not been to PP before get reading on here and learn or chat on here to someone who has. You'll have a laugh too!!

Good luck!

Thank you for your reply, nice of you to give me all the info. I've been reading the website with great interest and find it very informative & friendly. Have been to Majorca many years ago but never to Puerto Pollensa but it sounds so nice & relaxing (just what we like). The Alexia seems nice and again 'just up our street' re the location and quietness.

Thank you again, and no doubt I will probably be asking more questions before we arrive on 2nd October.
