Puerto Pollensa, brings back many happy memories, family holidays by the beach, so I can assure you the greatest apartment/hotel(s) are both the Flora, and the Puerto Azul, thoroughly enjoyable destinations.

The beach, WOW! Absolutely gorgeous, the town, amazing, this is a great family holiday destination, and equally a great destination for everybody.

The promenade is a great evenings walk, for everyone, be it for the sand artists, the street sellers, or anyone else who trys to liven up this gorgeous area.

The restaurants & bars are amazing and to be loved by all who visit

Formentor well worth a visit, or two!

renovations along the front

Well Whaler, it depends what you mean. After the terrible storm of November 2001, a lot of work was done, but there has been a considerable amount of very bad weather over the winter. I was there two weekends ago and more trees are down, (the Sis Pins is now "sin pins").
A large boat has been blown onto the rocks just off the beach, and like the one that laid there for years will probably do the same. Tamarrels, the beach bar that was quite badly damaged in 2002, has sustained more damage.
However, this aside, I have no doubt that come the start of the season, our favourite place on earth will be up and running better than ever.
