BA To Operate From Humberside to PMI

It has been reported today that BA are going to operate flights to Palma at weekends from May on behalf of Jetextra.com

Just checked a booking backend of August:there is only one return flight a week - on a Saturday, with a late night arrival back in Grimsby. The cost was close on £250 each before any add ons.
I wish Jetxtra well, but I'll be staying this side of the Pennines!

forgive me but i work down that way on a regular basis and never knew there was an airport in grimsby, where is it ?

thanks might be handy for us next year as working out of donny a fair bit never even knew it was there cant think of signs or anything off the m1 or that, is it signposted robin hood airport or something like that? that rings a bell

Err, outskirts of Grimsby? ( ) or down near Skegness if it's a Ryanair port of call

Robin Hood airport is near Doncaster not far from the M18, it was previously RAF Finningley before it was converted into a civilian airport. Google maps:

Good luck to them but the entire 2014 schedule is just 7 Saturdays between 26th July and 7th September.
