,after a great well earned 10 day break in beautiful Puerto Pollensa after visiting the eastern side of the island,it was great to be back!Friendly hotel ,amazing sea-views,brilliant weather...bliss!
Visited the Pollensa Park,what has happened,we first visited the island 6 years ago after hubby was made redundant,entertainment was great there,now its all inside,acts seem a little..erm,dare i say more downmarket!
Palms bar..terrific atmosphere,great acts and friendly staff!
Can anyone tell me the name of the terrific singer who was at the Panorama Beach hotel on sunday night,who sang mostly 70s music,,,he looked familiar,but as we had had a tiring day with a "No Frills excursion",the island tour,Brilliant!!!!!!!!,we were too tired too hang around to ask!..please,its driving me mad trying to think now..lol
To end on a sad note,we had 45 minutes to get a last minute present before our coach picked us up,went to a shop on the way to the port,it sold ice creams at the front,(not the new one)further down,hubby waited to pay and felt a hand in his back pocket,caught a girl there were 2 of them,he checked her bag,,the other one screwed up the £5note threw it on the floor and pretended to select a tin of the shelf. i was outside,wondering why hubby was taking so long,when the 2 women came out very annoyed,,now i know why! BE VERY AWARE!!!,didnt report as we would have missed our plane home,couldnt risk it.
But that aside,we thorughly enjoyed being back in our favourite spot in Majorca,home from home.
