Flew in with Jet2.com 2 hours late, and itching to get out to make the most of what was left of Saturday evening in PP
Arrived in baggage reclaimation, where it was totally chaotic. Thousands of people milling around, we stood at our belt, and stood and stood........
After an hour, people became genuinely concerned that our baggage had been lost, but there was (absolutely) no-one around to assist, no-one from Jet2, and no-one from the airport. It really was unsatisfactory. Rumours started that it was coming off on another belt, and off people ran in the hope that something would arrive.
I managed to find one Thompson Fly official who, althoughn unable to help, said that this was the norm for a Palma Saturday evening, and that we would just have to be patient.
Sure enough after 1.5 hours our baggage arrived.
Horrendous, and virtually wiped out our Saturday evening, but we still did manage to eke our a couple of hours at Bony's :lol
