Balaixa Apartments

There is a block called Balaixa Apartments opposite Los Zarzoles. If this is the block, then you are one line back from the beach and shops and restaurants.

Yes those are the apartments we are staying in, just wondered if anybody has any experience of these apartments.

hi, we stayed in balaixia in 2005 booked then with open hol tidhays. great location, only a few steps to the beach and the balcony overlooked los zarzales - super food, but the smell of the food being cooked nearly drove us potty.our apt was a 2 bed with a large entrance hallway, no window,a hugeliving and kitchen areawith fridge freezer and cooker,iron and board.the patio doors led to an large balcony, the bathroom was quite small and bedrooms were of ample proportions.
the decor is a little dated but everything was spotlessly clean and all electrical appliances were in perfect working order. there are also plenty of power points.
since staying here we have discovered this to be our preferred area to stay and on our last 5 visits we have booked apts very close to here.
also there are only about 10 apts so it is generally very quiet oh and i forgot there is a communal roof terrace also but we did not use it.

HI MY NAME IS DYLAN ,IM COMING OVER ON THE 9TH SEPT AND STAYING IN BALAXIA,THE WEATHER SHOULD BE GOOD,i always eat at simbads on the front,good food and well priced

last holiday to balaixa

i have jusst come back and in opinion i will never use these apartments again, i was burgled , the place was not secure and the clients arrived at what ever time they wanted and you had to slam the doors to shut them so a decent nights sleep was out the question, also mallorca luxury cleaning used the basement and parking in the car park was not allowed, i spent little time there.
the apartments were dirty and the floor had not been cleaned for ages.
its cheap but expect what you pay for

OMG what a shame. Holidays are never so cheap that this becomes acceptable. It is a pity that the questions relating to peoples experiences regarding different apartment blocks are not asked prior to holidays being booked. There are some really nice apartment blocks but as you found to your cost, some bad ones too. Do hope your experience hasn't put you off returning to PP.

Dont bother with Balaixa

We booked Balaixa - 2nd floor with parking. We were offered 1st floor with NO parking. The first floor flat smelt bad with damp, the patio doors did not close, and we had a load of ants. We only stayed one night as there was no alternative. We then had to pay 300 eus to "a company" to move to another aprtment further out of PP.

I cannot understand these recent posts re the Balaixa apartments. We have just returned from PP and the Balaixa apartments (the ones opposite Los Zarzales) are closed and look as though they have not been open for quite a long time.
