Balearics Day

Its the Balearics Day tomorrow isn't it, 1st March? Can any of the locals tell us what happens, is it a day off, are there any events planned or is it not really celebrated?

Hi SWS yes it is a public holiday tomorrow so most shops will be closed, the schools here in the Port closed on Friday, today and tomorrow. I don't think there is anything organised here, some restaurants may do a special MDD but it is a pretty low key fiesta.
