Baron de Ley

Hi Jane, I have enjoyed reading your wine reviews for some time now & I apprciate the site was intended for Mallorcan wines but over this weekend I have opened & tasted a really good Rioja.
Unfortunely I can't remember where I purchased or how much I paid for a bottle of Baron de Ley (Cub Privado) Reserva 2001. Wife & I enjoyed the taste, rich red fruits, the bouquet & the smooth tannins.
Is this wine widrly available in UK or even better in PP. Can't say I can recall seeing it on the shelves.
Appreciate any thoughts.

This is a great place to mention any Spanish or Mallorcan wines!

I've had a good search of the net for Baron de Ley and I could only find one website listing it at about £10.00 a bottle:

But the name is familiar to me and I'm sure I've drunk it in PP so it may be more widely available there.

If anyone else knows where to buy it, please let us know!
