basset hound

we have been visisting Pollensa now for more than 10 years. On all of these visits we have seen a large basset hound(i think thats what he is anyway). He seems to be a real feature on the pine walk and everyone stops to talk to him.We have always known him as Bertie Basset. I am surprised that I have never seen anything in the forum about him. I guess he is pretty old now and wont be around for too much longer.

We saw bertie Basset at christmas along the pine walk,hes lovely,a local celeb,who does he live with?,thats what we wondered,just walking along taking the air.

I was only talking about him in the chat room the other night!! His name is Duce and he belongs to a family who live just behind Pine Walk..my daughter was friends with their son.

He is a great old boy and I love the way he just takes himself off for walk...he goes to the market every Wednesday without fail Bless

Hi Debz.

I think it was me you were chatting to recently about Duce. I was concerned because last time we were in PP we didn't see him. Glad to read that someone has seen him recently - he's the highlight of the Pinewalk for our children.

We're back in April so, as usual, we will be on the look-out.
