Hi Everyone, If you want to have a real good night out with a great atmosphere don't forget to go to "Batacuda Bar" near to Naciente. Rafa and Miguel work really hard to make you feel welcolme with great music and plenty to drink and they open untill about 3 a.m. I may sound a little bias but I've only known them 17 years. Enjoy! ( I will i'm off out there tomorrow ).

Thanks for the advice - its one on the list for my son, daughter in law and freinds to go to in June. What time does it open / get started?

Not sure if I have already told you this .... if so , then just put it down to a senior moment

Batacuda was the bar I went to with daughter and a couple of her friends ( all 16/17 at the time ) before I ventured into Chivas and really felt ancient.

Anyway poijt of the story is that after less than an hour in Chivas daughter and her friends wanted to leave and go back to Batacuda because Rafa and Miguel were making such a fuss of them ....... result , off we went back to Batacuda and stayed until the early hours ........ and I didn't feel ancient because it was full of people from 16 to 60+ all haing a great time.

I would say it was lively enough by 11pm

Thanks cd, if you had told it before, then I'm with you on the senior moment thing because I dont remember it! Found a link to them the other day but disallowed on the forum as they dont advertise with "us" at the moment.
11pm a good time to get started after a meal next door at Nacientes too!:) I feel a flying visit coming on!;)

Hi Meadow

I agree, it's a very smart friendly bar with good music. But why oh why do they have to play their music so loud ??

Do me a small favour please, on behalf of local residents that live at the back of this bar, please ask them to be a bit more considerate when it comes to the continuous pounding of the music after midnight. My 2 year old isn't quite into the club scene yet !!!

Cheers.
