I am searching apartments for this summer. I have come across these apartments although they seem to some under various names. I have seen them on a few sites? anyone know anything about them. I did see a comment which wasn't very complementary as they were poorly equiped and a bit of a trek from the pool to apartment? I have been the victim of fraud from a previous booking and don't want any more disappointments. Could you also advice which website is best to book through.

Harry.

Which Apartments?

Have always booked direct through Puerto Pollensa website for appts privately and never had a problem in the last five years.Have used several different owners and all have been great!

We've stayed in them a couple of times before and found them great. Really big pool, nice and modern and handy to the beach. Once through an agent and once direct from owner and found this one to be much better equipped, though both well above average. Never had any probs with owners on PP.com website. Enjoy!

Thanks for replies. I think these apartments are also known as boquer playa. Haven't had reply as yet.

Hi Harry. I'm also interested in these apartments and have found them on google maps. They are to the south (left on google maps) of Bosquet de Boquer (park area) on Calle de la Talaia - the apartment block at the end (you'll recognise the swimming pool if you look). Street view is a good way to look at them! It's worth being aware of a post on Mumsnet though. I did receive a friendly response from a chap via Owners Abroad who has a few apartments there today - I know that they have ground and first floor apartments available. Built in 2007 apparently -and with wifi - and look a bit smarter than those on Bellresguard (the other area I was considering) I thought. But I'm no expert! My experience spans 3 days of internet searching only! Local knowledge would be much better :) Good luck with your hunt.
