Bodega Pollensa wine shop in Puerto Pollensa

The number of times we have walked past this place on Carrer Almiral Cervera & it's always been closed!
It was open on Wednesday morning last week so we popped in for a look around. Having had a chat with the owner, he told us that it was primarily a store for local bars & restaurants to buy their stock from in bulk. However, the shop is open on Wednesday morning when the market is on & anyone can go in to buy.
There's an interesting range of wines & a few spirits, ranging from the quite cheap to the very expensive. Definitely, worth a look if you are at the market in Puerto Pollensa on a Wednesday.

We bought a couple of very interesting and affordable wines from this shop in August. We'd also assumed it was for trade only but the owner was very welcoming and keen to tell us about what was available. The selection was great - some vineyards we'd never seen before. Well worth a visit on a Wednesday.
