Hi Jane, still reading The Big Picture, but then I only started it last week! But I'm thoroughly enjoying it and will definitely try another. Which one's have you read so far and which is the better? I've earmarked the Pursuit of Happiness, but am easily swayed!

Just finished reading - Stud Poker - ISBN 0-7553-2519-2

As with all JF's book's there's a horse racing thread throughout the book ( thats why i read them)

Light reading, focusing on a card school, and the repercussion of wining or losing.

Blackmail, murder and gadgets (who said "light reading"?.)

Not very highbrow, but a good holiday read.

her latest release CLOSE was very disapointing in my opinion,bordering on rubbish even, not up to her usual standard by far... !!!

Also got round too reading Kaitlyn by kevin lewis which was recommended on this thread, and i really enjoyed it, was a very good read.

Last apartment I stayed in in PP had a few books on the shelf, best of which was David Mitchell's Ghostwritten. Funny thing, books; when you re-read them, you always remember where you were when you last read them. So re-reading David Mitchell makes me think of PP, which is no bad thing.

Going again in May, and I'll pack some Cormac McCarthy this time, I think. Just finished All the Pretty Horses, so I'll buy the other two in the trilogy.
