Buddha Bar.....

.....this has certainly captured my interest!! :rolleyes: Will at least give it one try!:) Thanks for the picture fil.....huge elephant isn't it, unless Lyn and her Mum are very small!:D

LOL no they are not that small it is huge and the thing is it actualy looks good not tacky and not out of place unlike the Cowboys and Indians on the front (Tex Mex). I am sure it cost plenty, I hate Tat but I have to say I like it, it adds a little something. hard to imagin a life size Elephant being classy but it is .Just hope it dont wonder accros the road into the new wild life park and the lake LOL

Wonderful Fil......well done! Gosh it really is huge and so life like! I think I like it too. ;) Lyn and Mum look so much better though.:)

LOl thanks Just know all the kids are going to want to see it every day when they are out it really is life like
 
I wonder what they will do with it in the Winter ........................ Mind you, can't see anyone stealing it. :D
 
Any reports back from here yet, I have seen a few brief mentions but nothing in detail, have many people tried it, whats it like inside, prices, type of music, dancers? anyone!
 
We are off to PP next week and are staying very near to Buddha Bar so we'll report back when we are home.
Fingers crossed it is good and not too noisy as we overlook it!!

I thought it was supposed to be a trendy nightspot? It was certainly smart inside.
Will be interesting to see what the new tenants do with it.

Do we even know if it's new people or is it the original owners????, i think this is all speculation at the moment and we should wait until we get actual facts!! ;).
 
It's not the owners of the property.

Why can't we speculate ? It's made a lot of people a lot of money :)

Whoa there Sparky, I wasn't speculating I simply asked a question!! Maybe not that well obviously.

I've no idea who owns the place, who is/going to rent it, where they come from or am I bothered. Just curious as it's nice to know what's going on and I thought this was a forum. Although recently I'm beginning to wonder.
 
The family who run Mombasa & Torre Playa are the owners of the building
 
I saw the famous elephant listed for sale online a couple weeks ago... I just checked and it's still there. only 6500 is someone wants a souvenir ;)
