Buying a bike

Hi, Can anyone give me any info on buying an ex-rental or used road bike. Want a cheapish one that I can leave out here.
Any help appreciated

For good help and advice try Bruce at Pro Cycle Hire (opposite the Pollensa Park hotel).
I bought a good road bike from him last year and PCH is also a great place for repairs and servicing.

Bruce's bikes aren't cheap! But you do get the back up of the shop.

For better value try this place, whose name i have forgotten, but it's just before the roundabout on the way into Alcudia as you come around the bay from PP:

Niu Wave which is the cycle shop referred to above at the Roundabout is excellent ,the lad that runs it had a serious cycle accident but he should be back in there now.
Incidentally the best kept cyclists secret is the cafe next door run by two charming sisters, the bacon roll is the best in Majorca & frequented by many secret cyclists.

Thanks all.
Going on 12th Feb so will try Pro cycle and look for the wave shop. Think I stopped in a little cafe right next to that shop last year but dont remember seeing any bike for sale.

Mr M got a very good ex-rental carbon frame cycle from Bruce who refurbs them before sale and yes, Broomfield, despite not seeing any, a conversation with Bruce will soon confirm if he has anything for sale. Could be wrong end of year being the season start, but who knows?
