We did eventually make it after a 3 and a 1/4 year gap and ate Cake by the Ocean.

Took a while as the years 2015 to early 2018 where terrible years for me and my wife with family bereavements and various absolute nightmare problems to deal with.

The day we ate cake was Monday 25th June 2018 at 11:45 AM

A pack of four chocolate cakes and a bottle of Con Gas fizzy water bought from the small Eroski that is fairly near the marina roundabout and we sat on the unusual concrete benches near Tolos and ate cake by the Ocean.
It was very special :)

I usually take lots of photos but on this occasion my fingers where too chocolaty to touch my phone for a photo as I had eaten two fairly melted chocolate cakes. They where yummy :)

best I can offer instead of photos is a DNCE official youtube video (not work safe ! )

I am so glad you and your wife enjoyed your "Cake by the Ocean" it was along time coming after what you described Mark, life can be so cruel at times.
I bet you savoured every bite! Brought a little tear to my eye but a smile too to hear you made it back.

Very happy for you both that you made it back and had your yummy Cake by the Ocean.

Hope you also experienced the healing powers of the magical place that is PP while you were there.
Fingers crossed you'll have a much shorter gap til your next visit

Very happy for you & your wife. Life without PP would be challenging. I hope you have many more Cakes by the Ocean.
