Calle Hortensia

Hi there. We are planning a return visit to PP this summer and are thinking about renting a small apartment through Individual Travellers Company. The apartment in question is in Calle Hortensia (about 700m from beach). Does anyone know where Calle Hortensia is? Siller, Pinaret??? Grateful for any information.

Its the same area of Siller as the Alexia Apartments. We stayed there last year and the location is fine. 10- 15 minutes stroll to the front , 2 minutes to Caprabo, five to El Posito Very peaceful all times of day.

Its more than 700 metres to the beach though.

Calle Hortensia - thanks

Many thanks, Snowy and Mark. The map link was spot on - and I know exactly where this is. I actually feel a bit of a numpty now as we also stayed at Alexia (in October last year) and must have walked along this street any number of times! My husband suggests I remember the bottle bank as point of reference! We liked the area - as you say, Mark, nice and quiet and easy access to the front. Liked Alexia too although we had apartment 101 with a fairly dark and damp (not helped by the fact we arrived the day of the "storm") balcony so we would be wise to requesting alternative another time.
Thanks again to you both - I'll get back to my holiday planning now.
