Yep I feel slightly guilty as well to be going out in 2 weeks having had both jabs. I can’t understand why Spain haven’t insisted on people having a negative test before entering the country, but can understand that they are desperate to get their economy going.

Anyway who knows what the next two weeks will have in store. The cases at my grandchildren’s school are rising quite dramatically by the day and it seems to be primary age that are contracting it the most.

Of course the nightmare scenario is finding that you have been in close proximity on your flight with someone who subsequently tests positive for coronavirus in Mallorca, and being forced to self isolate in PP. Don’t you just hate this wretched virus!!

Sorry to be thick. But could someone set out EXACTLY what is required now in terms of testing for someone with 2 jabs to visit from UK for a week?
Thanks

Nothing needed to enter Spain - but need fill in Spanish health form.
You need to take an antigen test 3 days or less before your return. Loads of places you can book this. Spain have introduced a cap of a maximum €30 for this.
You then need to take a pcr test 2 days after your return. This should be booked before you return and details need putting on uk health form.

I just wish governments would make their blasted minds up and give us some rules to work with that last for weeks, rather than just days. It’s such a nightmare constantly changing arrangements with no guarantees that we may actually be able to travel. And changing rules with just three days notice is just plain cruel.

We arrived today and after all the worry everything was straightforward and we walked straight through passport control (passport checked and stamped) then health QR code scanned and no queuing there either. Suitcase was already waiting for us and we were through palma airport in record time!
It’s great to be back .:D
