No it didn't open Katsmum, all major building work had to stop during the tourist season but it restarted in October, hopefully it will be ready for next year.

I did receive an email from the owners last month, who state that refurbishment should be finished in time for the Capri to open at the end of April. Rooms are available from the 1st of May.
I really, really hope so, as their terrace is in my top 5 places to be able to totally relax on a summer evening.

I met the owners of the hotel today and they told me it will open on the 1st May, i saw some pics on their ipad and it looks good. They said the restaurant will open 1 week before.

This will effect the Sis Pins, now that they have accomodation as their Bar and retaurant prices were far cheaper as well. dependant of course, if you get a sea view??? as they don't have as many as the Sis Pins.

I think from memory they only have 6 sea view rooms with balcony.

The Hotel is re-opening on 1st May. It is owned by same people that own Hotel Morajela in Cala San Vicente. It is looking very nice.

I am staying at the above hotel in June, with some friends. I can't seem to find an email address or telephone number for this hotel (booked online thru' Alpharooms). Can anyone help?
Also I am thinking of hiring a car, but wondered if there is parking at this hotel or nearby?
Thirdly, could anyone recommend a car rental company or are we better to just arrnage transfers?

its not open at the moment but looks as if its being painted outside. restaurant not open at moment either.

Hotel Capri In Puerto Pollensa
I spotted lots of work still going on at the Hotel Capri before I left PP at the beginning of May.
The restaurant was already up & running and it looked like the finishing touches were being added to the rooms. Hopefully all will be well for your stay in June!
Maybe one of the forum members who live in PP could double-check for you.

I think it has now re-opened, certainly the restaurant is open so I think the rooms are ready too. I shall double check for you anyhow.

Hello,
Does anyone know if the hotel is definitely up and running now?
We've had a call from our agent (Broadway/Teletext) asking us to call them back but no message other than that. When calling back, the option we have been directed to is to change dates and/or hotel so a bit concerned!
We're due to arrive on Wednesday so not long to go!
