I have tried phoning the hotel but am not getting an answer .

Not to worry re my query/worry/concern post above - I finally got through to the agent and all they were calling about was the new Spanish airport tax that I had to pay before leaving - all £3.20 of it!

Also, I had emailed the hotel just before posting and having just checked my emails, they responded within an hours - so they are at least checking their emails if not answering thir phone!
