car hire whilst in PP

i have decided to book a taxi from the the airport this year for reasons i will not bore anybody with.
i would like to hire a car whilst in the Port area and would like to know if anybody could point me in the right direction of good car hire people in PP

Hi there, I can recommend Formentor motors. They are along the front near the Burger King. We have used them many a time and have no problems. Very nice people to deal with too.

After our problems with cars being cancelled I contacted Motos Formentor yesterday. Their reply said the had no cars available for the time we are in Mallorca 28/7 to 15/8. Most suppliers could not provide cars and if they could were very, very expensive.

I am afraid I would never use Motos Formentor again - they are Ok until you have a problem - then it's a different kettle of fish. When we had our problem they would not give a replacement car despite it being off the road for 3 days, no refund and when our fluent spanish speaking friend tried to talk to them they switched to mallorqin so that she could not understand.

Used Hiperrent last year + booked again with them on 1 August. Good service. Located up from the marina roundabout on the left hand side, opposite City Eroski I think. Prices though for booking now have increased massively since January when I did it. EUR 350 - EUR800. Best of luck
