Maybe the lease was up but they are moving to Alcudia. I have no other info about where or when.

Maybe the lease was up but they are moving to Alcudia. I have no other info about where or when.

I was told, albeit third hand, back in October that the lease was/is the issue. It’s a bit of history repeating as La Piazza which previously occupied the same site 10-15 years ago (run by Claudia from Maxims) faced similar issues with the lease there leading to its closure.

Jeez, that's a bit of a shock and not welcome news as far as I'm concerned.

However with the way PP is going just now I'm sure someone will be lined up to take the space and it will be spectacular no doubt.

A bit of a shock but I get the impression Casa Vila di Mare and Casa Marques are now Toni’s ‘babies’, and in my opinion are both better restaurants in enviable positions. The biggest downside, for me personally, is that Casa Vila stayed open in the winter
