I have to say i have never understood this fascination with "celebrities"......i much prefer meeting real people. What i have really enjoyed about living here is meeting up with and chatting to forum members, it is great to be able to put faces to names although i confess i am not very good with names but i do remember faces and my list is getting longer all the time.

Somehow by any form of association gives some 'status'!

We actually had someone quite well known contact us once to rent our villa. My husband said that he was sorry it was unavailable. WHen I asked him why he said he could do without the aggro!! Apparently just talking to this person was enough to tell that nothing would be right and it was more trouble than it was worth. - Me - I think, God he could have married my daughter!!!! lol

Actually getting back to celebs is that I think we are probably all guilty of celeb watching. Personally I think it is nice if a few decide to come to PP.

Totally agree Sparky, anyone whose name has to be followed by the soap they once appeared in is not a celeb, also anyone who is also followed by "you know he was in the programme with whats his name" also not, give me real people every time

Think it works with the alphabet, the likes of Pitt, Connery,Clooney etc being "A" list. The likes of Ant and Dec, Katie Price, Soap Stars etc, being "Z" list
