Hells Kitchen are already fully booked for NYE and already have quite a few bookings for Xmas Day, Ian is going to send me full details as soon as he can .

Sorry I asked! I assumed it was something to do with the topic as it had been mentioned by a few! I therefore asked simply as I had no idea what it was about and assumed it was something to do with Stay.

Something i have noticed is that some of the Spanish/Mallorcan bars tend to close for a few hours on Christmas Eve so they can celebrate with family and they then re-open just after midnight, so it's usually a late one .

Trio menu for New Years Eve will be no more than 55 euro. It was 50 last year. Menu not set at moment.

Have just received the Christmas Day Lunch menu for Hell's Kitchen, i am salivating as i post this. You can choose to have 4 or 5 courses.

On arrival a complimentary Bloody Mary or Kir Royal.

Starters.
Cream of roasted parsnips and ginger soup with cranberry creme fraiche.

And/or,
King Prawn, avocado, mango & wild leaf platter with sweet red pepper and chilli dip.

Mains.

Roast turkey, chipolatas, devils on horseback, chestnut & sage stuffing, fantail roast potatoes, sprouts, carrots and parsnips.

Or,

Oven baked fish Saltimboca, leeks and seasonal vegetables.

Dessert.
Figgy pudding and brandy sauce.

To finish.
Mince pies and coffee.

Wines.
Marques de Caceras or Torres Vina Sol.


Price per person = 4 course is 39.75€ and 5 course is 42.50€.


The restaurant will be closed on Boxing Day, New Years Day and Monday 2nd January.

Christmas day are the 25th? 1.juledag in Norway If eating out this evening in PP, any recommendations where to go, and would it be wise to book a table in advance?

Hi Tone, Stay will definitely be open in the evening and i will enquire about others. I think in winter it is always best to book a table in restaurants because sometimes they will close if it is too quiet .

I have just spoken with Jaime and he says O Lume will also be open, he has not finalised the menu yet but i will post it when i get a copy .

El Casinet will be closed in the evening of 24th December but open on the 25th .

I have just heard that Billy from The Ivy Garden will be preparing a Christmas Day lunch at Duxou, no other details yet but will post when i get them.

Since this is our first Christmas in PP, I was wondering if there is any bars open on the 24th. in the evening, so you can have a drink after Christmas dinner. Not sure we will, but nice to know :- )))

O'Haras usually opens but not until later in the evening and i am sure others will also be open, will let you know when i have confirmation Tone .

The Hideaway will be open all day on Christmas Day, serving a traditional lunch at 2pm. There will also be party games, a Christmas quiz and live music. The price is 32.50€ .

Hi again, now we have decided to go out for dinner on the Christmas eve as well.
Trying to find a butcher who could make a proper Norwegian Christmas ribs, but no luck. Difficult to bring with us the rib from Norway
Any recommendations regarding restaurants on the Christmas Eve in PP ?
