"Comments" on Flickr

Is there any way of knowing when new comments have been added to photos without having to go through them all and look again and again?

Or am I missing something?

I know I have found comments that I didn't know were there and would have liked to reply to.

Is this possible or am I just being lazy?

Since posting a couple of fantastic photos ( although I say it myself!!) I keep getting emails to say that people want to be my friends. What does this mean Robjay???

I'm sure Rob won't mind me answering - it's just that other members want to list you as a "friend" and therefore able to see their photographs when listed as private.

If you are not their "friend" then you won't be able to see their private photos.

Hi Jane
If you go to the bottom of any page, go to 'your photos' & then 'recent activity'. This will tell you of any new comments about your photos.

Thanks for that - I did as you said and saw your comment about my Pine Walk photo.

I agree with you - when I'm chatting with the others in "The Room" this is one of the photos I bring onto my screen and then I feel like I'm really there.
