Was the crazy golf down opposite the Poly Park, we seem to remember a sign that is still there pointing to around the back of the shops and bars in the road down to the beach, could be still there?

Yes it was there and i think it probably still is although derelict. It was run by the sisters who owned the old supermarket which was demolished and re-built with apartments above many years ago. The new owners didn't want to keep it going so just left it. We used to rent an apartment which backed on to it and the last time we stayed there the golf course was completely overgrown and in ruins, it was quite sad really because families used to love to go there to get away from the beach for while, there were a lot of trees on the plot which made it great to cool off in the afternoon heat.
