Deep sea fishing / Fishing trips

Hi there

Does anyone know of any companies who organise sea fishing trips from Pollensa or Alcudia area? Ideally with equipment hire to boot! I have been to Pollensa about 20 times but for the life of me I can't think of one!

Fishing trips from Pollensa

Hi, I would also like to know if there are daily fishing trips from the port. I am not after a private charter and would prefer a larger vessel with 20/30 capacity.

If anyone can suggest a suitable service I would most appreciate it. I will be in Pollensa in August 2012.

Hi. Did you try a trip? What was the catch like? I've heard there are barracuda but not sure how commonly they are caught. Regards, Jim

I just came across this thread from last year as I was about to ask the same question. It didn't get any replies - does anybody have any informatoin about sea fishing trips?

I think there is a guy who sells all kinds of boat/fishing trips, he is usually beside the Tourist Information Office on the front. You could try contacting the office as they might be able to help, here is a link to it Tourist Information - Pollensa - Mallorca Majorca .

Tangofan - There's a company in PP that organises trips, either half day or full day, all tackle, bait, drinks included in the price. They have a hut in the car park near the marina, you can book there. We did a half day trip last year, the boat left from the jetty next to Stay.

Sparky and Bracken - Thank you very much for this - out next week so will try these suggestions. Mr Tangofan usually brings a fishing rod but thought he might like a trip out this time! I don't think you are allowed to fish on the pier anymore.

Bracken - was the trip successful, did you catch anything?!
