Daina apartments - warning

Just returned from a week in the Daina apartments which is right next door to the building site where Tango's used to be. Be warned - it was VERY noisy and on the last day we were there a wall collapsed right beside the apartment - scared the living daylights out of us! The workmen tend to start around 7am every day, except Sundays.

Where are the Diana apartments situated?

Will the roadworks effect me at Pollentia as i'm worried its near

Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,

The Pollentia Hotel is quite a distance from the Daina so don't worry about roadworks affecting you there. I haven't heard that there are any in that part of the resort so you should be fine.

Jane:)

Hi, Diana apartments are in the centre of town.

The Pollentia is on the sea-front, but you will find it a pleasant 15-20 minute walk into the Town centre.

Hope you enjoy your holiday.

Daina apartments are not right on the front - they're behind the Hotel Daina, on the Formentor road. As well as the road works, you also have to deal with the bin men coming round at 5:30am every day

At the time of my reply i was thinking of the Daina hotel which IS on the sea-front.

Hi spiker
I hope you have a good stay at the Pollentia, we stayed there for two days last year, we had a top floor room, very nice and clean with great views of the whole bay, and a lovely walk up into the port at night along the beach.

Does anybody have any news on the situation around the Daina for this year? Mum and Dad are having trouble booking a sea view so they were wondering what the side view will be like this Easter. :)

Joelise, progress is very slow. The old Tango is still a big hole in the ground and i can't imagine it will be finished this side of Christmas never mind Easter.;)
