Does anyone know of a reliable repairer of Hi-Fi Equipment

I bought a Hitatchi micro hi-fi system with me from England which after very little use has now stopped working. I've searched on the web for a Hitachi service agent and they only have two in Spain - Barcelona and Gran Canaria! Does anyone know where on the island I can get it repaired please?

I can't answer your question Deanscroft but why don't you call into any of the electrical appliance shops and ask them if they can help. I have always found Confort and Reus very helpful.

I cannot recall the name of the place but there is a small electrical repair / hi fi place in Munar in the old town, on the other side of Jonquet from the Policia Local. We used them a year or two back for a small repair and they were very good.

Deanscroft ,I think the store is Munar, Jonquet is the 3rd left off the main road into Pollenca.

Sorry Deanscroft, I should have said Calle de Munar. It runs from the very bottom of the Placa Major by the side of the Club Pollensa in an easterley direction and crosses Calle Jonquet at the Policia Local. The shop I'm thinking of is halfway between the bottom of the square and the police station.
