I had a poor experience with Amigo Autos.. They bill your credit card when you make the booking (in Euros) and then they try to source a car from local companies.
In my case they couldn't find the 6 seater I needed, so they refunded the payment to my credit card company (in Euros) but of course I was hit by currency conversion on both transactions costing me more than £16 just to have them tell me that they couldn't deliver.
None of the other companies I tried did this.
DOYOUSPAIN where efficient and also couldn't deliver but I was fine with that. Carjet was the same story. I was beginning to think there simply weren't any larger cars available in Majorca.
In the end Holiday autos were able to deliver and as usual their service was perfect. I was the only person in the queue at the airport not getting bullied into more insurance and although I put a slight scrape on the car during my holiday, there was no paperwork or hassle to follow up. The local company and HA sorted it between them and I was left (again) as a very satsified customer..
Maybe they will quote a little bit higher but this is because you get EVERYTHING you need included. I strongly reccomend Holiday Autos.
