DoYouSpain.com / Auriga Car Hire

Hi All,

I normally use hertz but needed a 7 seater this time so booked with doyouspain.com as they were a lot cheaper, thinking that the local agent would be RecordCar.

I got the confimation through and it says the hire is with Auriga, anyone have any recent feedback or experience with them as id never heard of them?

We used them in June 07 and they were fine - only trouble was we arrived on a Saturday (never again) and the desk (I think it was Record) was knee deep and they were running that stupid numbered ticket scheme = 2 hour wait and not very happy. Not Do You Spain's fault though, as hiring a car @ Palma is always problematic. Last year we used Sixt, not all that cheap but unbelievably efficient, no queue and polite staff.

Thanks, everytime ive ever been through the airport I've noticed the Q's are at least moderate to a mile a long at the recordcar desk but I was willing to take a chance as they are cheap for the 7 seater and no one says anything too bad about them.

Maybe its a blessing in disguise that the booking is with Auriga, after reading a couple of the other threads I think they sound ok too.
