Easyjet 2012/13 Winter Flights from Gatwick

Easyjet's 2012/13 winter flights from Gatwick (post October 2012) went on sale yesterday morning.

Has anyone else noticed though - or is it my imagination - that they have reduced the number of winter flights from three per day to only one?! I'm sure in the past I have had a choice on the first Sunday of November - now there is just one flight showing, and that is a late evening flight so not very practical for me (as I'm flying with youngish children).

They are also extremely expensive - the sole flight available on the first Saturday in November is almost £200!!!

I'm guessing at this stage they will not be putting on additional flights. Can anyone recommend another company which flies direct via Gatwick out of season?

Easyjet have only operated one winter flight per day to and from Gatwick for the past few years. The only exception I am aware of was the two or three days after last Christmas when they increased the frequency to two per day.

Monarch will fly on Mondays and Fridays between Gatwick and Palma this coming winter.
