Yes folks, I'm a true numpty!!! Was looking at 28th May (which indeed is a BH) but then realised that the villa is booked from the 4th June for two weeks! Phew! That could have been a difficult conversation with Mrs Jones this evening!

Booked at about 3.30am for Lanzarote next April at really good price before early morning flight to PP to the Rain !!

Thought I would have a quick look for August from our local airport.

Couldn't believe it 890 euros not for a family of 5 but just the 2 of us.
Double this years price.
They must be having a laugh if they think I am going to pay them that sort of price.

Is that Vueling...we looked for July and they did very few direct flights and not cheap..however I did get my daughter and friend direct return flight in October (optima fare to include checked in cases) for about 330€ for the two of them ..cheaper than EJ or Ryanair drom Bristol

Monarch flights are already available for summer 2016 - tempted to go with them at around £1500 for a family of 4 travelling Sat-Sat but wondering if I should hold out another few weeks till Easyjet are available to compare prices?

Yes it is Vueling, have used them the last 4 years at nowhere near that sort of price. There's only a few airports they fly direct, Palma being one of them.
Guess we will have to fly from a different airport. They try to get people to fly from Cardiff and the only carrier they have other than Thomsons etc. try to rip you off. I know it's August but!!!!!!

To be honest Timberman although its nearer we have not flown from Cardiff since BMIBaby pulled out...Easyjet and Bristol ell the time for us..I book as they come out

Just had an email from Easyjet to say their 2016 summer flights go on sale next Thursday (22nd Oct) - so set yourself a reminder and get in early!

Easyjet summer flights out today july onwards , shame edinburgh and glasgow are only 2 days a week

Well, Easyjet said the flights would be out "mid-morning". Good thing my son was there at 7-00am when they were released. Flights booked for six of us from Liverpool cost an extra £140 each just 40 minutes later. Family saving for vigilance.....£840! Result. Phew!

Easyjet prices are looking good though they do seem to leave at silly o'clock in the morning but we have booked BA again from London City Airport. We are lucky that this is much easier for us than Gatwick and for just a little bit more we get a much more civilised flight, 23 kg of luggage, 23kg (!) of hand luggage, a snack and drinks on the plane. Mind you prices have gone up this year! Easy check in as well and we can reserve our seat online the day before.

I would check daily as quite often email to you seems to arrive after they are live !

Martin Lewis programme on ITV this week said flights for next September and October were being released tomorrow (Thursday).
