We are returning after a few years necessary absence.
Is Embat open this season?
How about Seabar IS too?

Having been away for 6 years I have been a little disappointed to see so many restaurants that appear to have reduced the selections on their menus. Am I wrong, but there seems to be a move towards pizzas, burgers and pastas.
Ian in Liberty Kitchen seems to be maintaining standards.

Interesting. I cant speak for the port but in Pollenca town I can see what you mean. We lost 1 pizzeria (La Sasteria??) after covid and gain more recently Capitol. Capitol is a spin off of Trencadora and I cant blame them for wanting a town centre location (their old site is beautiful but you need to go find it).

The burgers and meat trend is the really interesting one which I think is caused by the issue of declining living conditions in South America leading to economic migration.

Trocadero is Argentinian,
Entre Pisco y Nazca is Peruvian
Urban Bites... cant remember... Chilean??
and there are staff at other restaurants we go to who are Columbian

I agree. Grilled Sole was a staple in nearly all restaurants - hardly anywhere offers it now 😒
