Endesa To Terminate supply oct 2010

Apparently the new Electricity charges were set by government in Madrid and could rise by upto 30%. Their was a 2.5% increase in January and this will be followed by another 2.5% in July and on top of that a 2% rise in VAT this year. There is some more infor,ation about which I will ask A friend to bring to me and then will pick out anything that might be relevant for people.

I now have the article I mentioned . It is lengthy and it is difficult to know which bits to pick out,covers price rises,estimated bills and ICP's. If anyone would like to see this I would be happy to scan it and attach to an email if you PM me your address.

There is an Endesa Service point in Alcudia Town. Don´t know the name of the road but if you leave the town as if you are heading to the centre of Port Acudia it is on the left hand side about 50 metres before you reach the Mercadona supermarket. It is inside an electrical shop and there is an Endesa sign on the window. Inside you will find a desk with a couple of girls there to answer queries. They speak very little English but I have always managed to get things sorted with a mixture of Spanglish and sign language.
