Eolo

Like many of you, I'm sure, I was very saddened when Martin and Elke were forced out of La Goleta, but very pleased to find Martin running the restaurant at Eolo.

My son is currently in PP and tells me that Eolo is boarded up, with internal work going on.

Does anyone know what the renovations are? Or whether Martin is still involved?

Counting the days before our next trip!!!!!!

i was in the port in october and taking to Anna at Capri it is been renovated and run by the capri

Yes the Eolo is having a major and much needed face lift and i am told that the Capri are now the owners.

Great news

We stayed there a couple of years ago for our "extra " holiday and we had a front facing balcony and the views were great. It was badly in need of renovation but the people who were running it were extremely friendly .

I wonder if they are knocking some of the rooms together to make decent sized bedrooms?

They kindly gave us single room to shower in before our late flight home and I nearly died when I saw the "broom cupboard" . I would have hated to be put in a room without a window (not joking) in the heat of summer. Single people definitely get the short stick when booking rooms.

I am sure it will be a great success due to the location .Looking forward to seeing in in June .
