I would say take Euros with you if you live or work in London the best rates are at ICE in Waterloo Station where one can change up to 5k with no questions asked.
They will beat any one but you must print a voucher from their main website on the day before you collect.
For example up to 1.25 today at Post Office on 2.5k there was a difference of 115 Euros which may as well be in your pocket as theirs.
Dont know what todays rate in majorca is.Anyone?
