Hi

We're going to PP on Monday 18 August and this is my first time there. We've two girls, 11 and 13 and were wondering about things to do in the evening, apart from eating out (found your recommendations on the eating out forum really helpful). Are there hotels or bars that have discos or shows that would be suitable? I'm thinking about the pirate show - but it's quite expensive.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Many thanks
L

Hi there, You are probably packing your last bits into your cases now. Pirates have put on a couple of extra shows for the next 3 thursdays - but without transport so only ok if you have your own car - may even be worth hiring one for a couple of days. The show starts at 1300hrs so ideal as it gets you into the air conditioned theatre at the hottest part of the day, you have lunch, back in time for pm in PP and even better is that they are offering it at low season price. You can book at several places but also in calle Medico Llopis 21 - between Flora apts. and the Square. LIMITED AVAILABILITY THOUGH SO DON`T WASTE ANY TIME.
Failing that the Thomson hotels have lots of entertainment and if you are putting money behind the bar they do not seem to mind outsiders coming in and also the larger Pollensa Park hotel. Have a great holiday - wonderful and hot over here.

Hi Laurabelle, There are plenty of hotels that do evening shows. The main ones being Pollensa Park, Flora, Club del Sol, Oro Playa and i thin the restauran El Ancla does it too. But if you can stretch to alcudia, pretty much any of the big hotels will have shows on. And a really good place is Lunas Bar and Grill in Alcudia. Good food, decent price and a great show. Located right near the Belvue hotel/apts.

Magic and Menta are still open, but not as great as they used to be...

Doubt 11 and 13 year olds would want to be going to Menta and Magic... lol
