.................. trying to book a week mid september - this time without the other 7 family - so will be using hotel - any comments on Bahai, Sangla and Ayul (not sure about spelling) or any other suggestions along Pine Walk.

Hotel Villa Singala is worth serious consideration. Immediately behind the Pine Walk, mid way between the Hostal Bhia and the Illa D'Dor. Find it here

Mid September prices, double with balcony and breakfast is 84 euros per room per night.
Clean, well presented, with a small pool tucked away round the side. Super ever helpful staff.

The owner was previously a general manager with the HOSPA group (Illa D'Or Uya Bahia etc) - 3 visits in last 12 months confirm the HOSPA standards are being maintained at Hotel Villa Singala.

Thanks Clinkham & Pollensa founder - will look more closely at Sangala - is it better value etc than Bahia ? Can't wait to get back . What is the weather like in september - especially nights - will I top up my very gentle tan ??Have never been in sept. Tibbles in very very wet Shrewsbury - almost on flood alert.

I think all the hotels in PP are of a very good standard - you would have to be a bit picky to not to have a good holiday in any of them. Just do the homework regarding size location, price and facilities. Pollensas link is a good starting point.
In the meantime we have visitors from Shrewsbury to here in Lancashire tomorrow. Supposed to be blue skies and sun over the weekend - should be a pleasant change for them!

I have just this week added the Hotel Villa Singala onto my website as I was very impressed by the standards and the lovely friendly atmosphere not to mention the wonderful sensible prices for a hotel in such an excellent location. 92€ for a twin room with balcony during August including breakfast for 2. This hotel is now 3* and even offers tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms - something clients across Puerto Pollensa have been asking for over many years!! Thanks Clinkham - have just been doing some research on Singala and your info backs it up so will look for best deals in sept. If I don't make up my mind will find nothing left and then try to get the best flights. Shrewsbury has sunshine and fluffy clouds ( at least not torrential rain) as I write but not quite the same as last sat in PP when we spent last day in and out of the med sea drying almost immediately. Our late flight gave us a lovely extra day. Hope your Shrewsbury visitors enjoy Lancashire - my husband is a Lancastrian - Clitheroe- but has been away for many years.
