Formentor Road developments?

During the recent hustings for the local elections one of the parties (cannot remember which one) talked about the re-development of the Formentor Road. As it would directly affect me, I have done a bit of research but found nothing.

Just wondered if anyone with their 'ear close to the ground' in local politics could enlighten me.

There was talk of widening pavements and traffic restrictions but all in the planning stage.
