Talk of The North has posted on FB that a free guided walk to the Coves Blanques in Cala Sant Vicenç is available on Fridays. Book by tomorrow Wednesday at the Tourist Info or phone up, for this Friday 30th September. See here

Two others are also advertised in the Tourist Office, one to the Boquer Valley and the other around Pollença

We booked and enjoyed the walk with guide Juan from Mond Adventure in Pollensa.
Although we have done the walk and extensions to higher places many times the 'local' information was most interesting.
We were a party of seven, two Germans, Five Swiss, and us.
We were told at the outset, as the walk was relatively easy and straightforward, that we were free to go on ahead if too slow, or drop back if not for you and return to CSV.
We made our way from the Tourist Office in CSV up the rocky road, built by Republican Prisoners between 1937 and 1940, to the viewpoint over Coves Blanques.

We all managed to explore the anti aircraft battery tunnel and an extension to see Cala Estonnel and Castle de Rey in the distance.

We did not return with the party but stayed and lunched at a very picturesque viewpoint.

Would certainly recommend this walk to anyone with a decent pair of trainers with them. It's very open and rocky terrain so you need to watch your step and as there is no shade, suitable headcover and water.

The Bouquer Valley walk sounds more straight forward for those not as agile, although good footwear and water is advised on any walk further than the Square!!
