THanks Bella, it worked for me when I tried it. Must learn how to put the links on properly.

wait for it....Bella, you will roar with laughter........I am considering doing the Pollensa half marathon

I am sure that if I can get a few sponsors I will be able to do the distance as it is no further than we walked on Sunday and it is all on the flat, so it should be much easier ....what do you think?

Roar with laughter!!?? More like check my bank balance again! If you can do that Lluc walk girl, you can do a flat walk backwards!! Ha, now there's a challenge! ;)

Thanks for the links, really good photos - What a wonderful event and so well supported - Puerto Pollensa came up with fine weather as well.

Hi guys and gals, Pollensa and i have decided just for this weekend to post everything in pink to show our support for this amazing effort, please feel free to do the same if you wish :D.

It is actually "Magenta" as the pink font is too pale and difficult to read

What a lovely idea. Lets go pink crazy and show our support!!

The more the merrier Favs and let's not forget men can also suffer breast cancer so don't be shy guys, you can join in too.

One thing I'm not is shy Sparky, I am also very in touch with my feminine side :p

UATW it was so good to see you and your lovely hubby today. Your mum is amazing and so funny.

Ooops!! sorry i forgot to add the guys and gals here are doing a dartathon today, the weather has been ideal for it........WET.

Darts -a- thon

Thank you Sparky, you are very kind :o It was good to see you and Colin too.

Just to let you all know that the Darts-a-thon organised on Saturday afternoon raised another €150 for the Breast Cancer Awareness charity fund. About 20 people popped in over the course of the afternoon to "throw some arrows" and partake of a beverage or two (or three or four hic hic) and a great time was had by all. Many thanks to Lee from Nostalgia for organising the afternoon

The next event will be the 5 a side football tournament that kicks off at 6pm this Friday. 8 teams are taking part including squads from Palms, El Posito, Hardleys and JKs.

Then on Saturday afternoon, we have the Photothon / Treasure Hunt all around the Port where we have devised some cunning clues to guide you to the right places! The clue sheets will be handed out in Hardleys Diner at 2pm.

More updates to follow :)

Breast cancer awareness

Just to let you all know how this weekends activities have fared.
The 5 a side football tournament was won by the team from the Poligono and JKs came runners up - well done to everyone.
The photo-thon was a great success with one team flying around the port on a motorised scooter adorned with pink balloons - quite a sight.
In all this weekends events have raised approximately €1,000

Well done again to everyone who participated and also thank you to the bars and restaurants who kept everyone in "good spirits" along the way.
:)
